Introducing: HHOWLA

Trash with Class?

"...to promote free inquiry, freedom of expression and a chance for everyone to be themselves.”

The author of the above––so what––don't we ALL get that as part of our American Apple Pie slice of life?––statement, at the time wasn't contemplating some great empyrean wheel in hopes of affirming his own seraphic knowledge as the sole seer and keeper of an exclusive ritual with the muse, without such, his enterprise–––might have crumbled away long before it even had the chance to exist.

Yet, if you ask me, it was exactly this!

At the ripe age of 30 when the fertile fire of youth skirts one's loins, still free of the baggage of carnage encountered well enough past one's mid 40's –––what may be lacking in experience is most enthusiastically made-up for in passion. And the more one lacks the more passionate one is encouraged to be. And thus was I when I co-founded my first 501(c)3 in 1997 with my partner and lover David Fairbanks Ford III. Flash forward 20 years and ALL those passions had come due, and our experience of the mission, the vision, the goals and the values–––ALL stood out, without question–––these are who we serve.

Today, I am preparing to begin a new application, for a new 501(c)3 ––– one that's been evolving since 2018 in scale and concept and even location, from a verdant valley of happiness and cheer to an ode to Ginsberg, the beats and the poem that marked the turning of a generation:
