Next Wave Social Media

s h a t t e r e d . will be the first of new brand of gay* social media. Think:

• • Tinder meets Yelp; Kind of.
The pure function of visceral choice reinforced, of course, by user reviews.
• • Tic Toc meets Grindr; Closer.
Expressionist pandamonium meets the grid.
• • Zoom meets Instagram; Almost.
Stacks of video chats in every spectrum of the rainbow.

*gay here is ALL inclusive. (and... and... and...)

Los Angeles, USA / Dunno Tokyo, maybe.?

• • Change, like innovation, ready or NOT; happens.
Ed 306.24, was one of several additional statutes comprising newly revised Minimum Standards for NH Public Schools. The statute itself, simply entitled––Assessments, was about to raise the ire of the old guard on the Hannover/Dresden School Board, and holy hell would ensue becoming one of the most contentious debates in the state of New Hampshire. Put on a state-wide hold soon after its introduction in 2003, the statute when fully implemented, mandated the development and assessment of online student portfolios as an option for some standardized testing.

Because we operated independently of the local school districts, my student’s online portfolios were ’significantly’ evolved by the time the public school’s were finally greenlit in 2006. Of the many bizarre requirements made of us by NH's Department of Education we were obliged to employ no less than 13 consultants––for our 5 core-content areas (once a big cufufle was made over us NOT employing an improv jazz consultant-which we did in earnest look for).

I remember for about 1.5hrs sitting on my hands and being handed glossy binder after glossy binder, while a nicely groomed yet frayed computer science teacher, now turned acting consultant pointed to various charts and tables soliciting my imagining of various non-existent student work.

The last binder I was handed neatly outlined ALL previous features and then linked each to corresponding ranges of monthly subscription fees–– per student (at which I audibly gulped). I do NOT know whether or NOT she was expecting a counter demonstration, but my presentation of what our students currently were working on certainly was Willy-Wonka Esq.

“And, know what the best part is...?,” I said at my conclusion summary” That's RIGHT it’s ALL free...! Oh, and did I mention the additional security features... let me show you those."

OMG. So Much. Surviving a rabid fundamentalist encampment in my formative years without an oz. of gay shame. ✅ The non-permantness in exclusivity of a passionately uncultured adolescent obsession with Pink Floyd. ✅ Yet, hands down the acknowledgment and importance I placed on my very first-world-view at age 10 (plus I knew what a world view was and why it was important is pretty impressive). It’s since been augmented with several necessary amendments, but originally it was formulated as thus:

• • Give Everything To Everybody ALL the Time. ✅

• • 2022-Spring: After several proposal go-arounds, a beginners Swift UI coding course, and several failed attempts at soliciting co-founders, I've come full circle. • • 2021-Spring: Initial feedback on my start-up idea from undisclosed facebook defector is extremely encouraging (my first introduction to Y-Contributor).
• • 2020-Winter: Gaining no traction in my efforts to find support for what I now saw as systemic problems, Rudolph Giuliani's Four Seasons Total Landscaping Press Conference, would serve as my tipping-point. After that I knew it would be ALL me.
• • 2019-Summer: I began alerting individuals within the gay community to what I then perceived as security issues and other fraudulent behaviors I was witnessing on gay networking/cruising sites.

• • Why? It is a matter of survival NOT for me only, but for everything and everyone I've ever invested.
• • A BW 2D world of eros and id, having long since been raided by 4D flying monkeys of misfortune.
• • As a long term (twenty-year) user of gay social networking/
cruising apps. there is an overall consensus the apps suck.
• • s h a t t e r e d . wides the playing field to include a full spectrum of LGBTQUAI users.

As best I can tell, Tinder, Grindr and the like. Facebook (definitely) Tic Toc and Instagram (somewhat).

• • In a very real yet un-planned way it's user content driven Quibi.

No matter the number of constraints placed upon expressions and/or interactions between individuals for purposes of moderating content, limiting and/or discouraging behavior, or for other nefarious purposes)

• • Wanted or unwanted, there is NO better motivation other than exposure.

Monetization is embedded within membership tiers linked to content creation and other privacy functions. I say, sky's the limit.

...I'll just say this. Every business venture that I've been associated with I've been the #2 man. And every venture has failed. And I'll say no more...

Service bartering: a craigslist like data base, which automatically links individual resource with personal supply and demand needs. ie. Susan can baby sit but needs someone to write code. Joe writes code (in his sleep) and needs a babysitter for Saturday night. Something like that.
